The Thames Valley 4x4 Club

About Us

Thames Valley 4x4 club is a non-profit making club for 4x4 enthusiasts, run by the club members. We do not have any financial interest in the venues we attend. The club has a formal constitution, is operated by a committee and is not a limited company. Our aims are to provide a minimum of a monthly event at locations across the Thames Valley region.

Being "Run by Members, for the Members" means WE NEED YOU!. Each event requires assistance with setting up, running and closing down. The website and newsletters need your contributions to make them interesting! All contributions (Assistance, Gossip, Marshalling) are welcome.

To join us, either complete and send in the membership form on this page or come along to one of the events and join up on the day. As with any club there are rules to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely, check out the rules here or come along to one of the events and join up on the day.

Membership

Membership is open to all.  Either complete the form and send it in, or join up on the day at an event.

Standard Sites:

Cost per event for Members: £22

Annual Membership: £27 including first drive

Additional Drivers: £7

Other Sites:

In order to cover the higher site costs at some locations (currently MOD sites and Avon Dassett) the both the above prices increase by £5 for the specific event ie.

Cost per event for Members: £27

Annual Membership: £32 including first drive

(Note: due to insurance restrictions Non-Members cannot be permitted at some events - you may join on the day at these events)

TV4x4 does not set out to make a profit and where a surplus occurs this is fed back into the club.  top

Club Rules

We try to keep the club rules to the minimum needed to ensure a safe enjoyable environment and to comply with MSA regulations. The general rules are here, some of our sites have additional requirements from the land-owner, please read and download the site information sheets on the event page . Any additional last minute requirements will be explained at sign-on on the day.
